About Esabel
Hi! I'm Esabel and my journey in education and science has been shaped by a passion for discovery and a commitment to fostering a love for learning. My highest degree is my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and I'm currently pursuing my Honours conducting research relating towards Tuberculosis at the University of Queensland.
My dedication to advancing knowledge goes beyond the classroom—I've contributed to real-life research during both winter and summer programs at UQ. These experiences not only deepened my understanding of biomedical science but also allowed me to share that enthusiasm with others.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I'm a proud member of UQ LaMPS (Leadership and Mentoring Program in Science), where I've honed my leadership skills. This experience has taught me the value of guiding and supporting others in their academic journeys.
As a tutor, I aim to simplify the complex topics taught in Biology and Chemistry using visual diagrams and interactive teaching. By creating a dynamic and interactive environment, I aim to not only help students grasp the material but also instil a genuine curiosity for the sciences.
I look forward to sharing my passion for the sciences and contributing to the academic success of your students!

Tutoring Approach: I personalize lessons based on the student's learning styles, ensuring engagement through interactive sessions and clear communication. I offer regular feedback, adapt to different learning paces, integrate technology, and you practise exam questions to develop understanding.
My sessions are 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the student's preference.
As for my qualifications, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and I am currently pursuing my Honours relating to Tuberculosis research.
My tutoring services are tailored for students ranging from high school to first-year university for Chemistry and up to third-year university for Biology.
