I hope this message finds you well. My name is Diego Altarac and I am thrilled to connect with you regarding the tutoring opportunity for biology, maths, Spanish and others.
Embarking on a journey of academic exploration and growth is an exciting experience, and I am excited to play a pivotal role in igniting students’ enthusiasm.
Having earned my Biomedical Science degree from the University of Southampton, I bring not only my academic foundation but also a huge enthusiasm for science. I have also completed four A-levels at my time in school, gaining an outstanding A*A*A*A in biology, maths, Spanish and psychology, respectively.
Therefore, with this academic knowledge, I not only have an array of biological understanding but I also bring a contagious enthusiasm for biology. This can help you to earn top marks in A-level, GCSE and IB biology as I can provide outside knowledge to impress the people marking your exam!
In addition to that, I was born in Venezuela and only moved to England when I was 14 years old. Since then I have been able to grasp and fluently learn the English language without forgetting Spanish. I still use Spanish in my daily life and I can speak, write and read fluently. Therefore, I have the ability to use innovative learning techniques with personalised attention and demonstrate the proper pronunciation of words which most tutors are not able to provide.
In any other case, I am able to easily re-learn concepts in subjects that I have taken in the past and teach them effectively. Thus, any other help with other relevant subjects, plus any GCSE curriculum, I will be more than happy to help.
In terms of experience, I have a younger sister and cousin, currently doing their A-levels (similar to mine), and throughout their academic experience, I have helped them in numerous occasions. Teachers can sometimes skim through some content, leaving students in this gray area where they understood the concept, but didn’t fully grasp the mechanisms and the reason why that happens. This is where I have helped my family and many other friends to fully understand the content and develop an interest in the subject.
Lastly, I am genuinely thrilled about the prospect of joining tutoring, creating a space where students not only grasp material but also develop a love for learning. Witnessing those “aha” moments when complex concepts click is what drives my dedication for tutoring.
