About Ellie

I am a qualified science teacher and I have a degree in Biomedical Science. I have achieved A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology and have a natural enthusiasm for science, which comes through in my positive and creative teaching style.

About the lesson

I am currently offering tuition in GCSE Biology and Chemistry as well as A level Biology. During my studies, I have developed a good understanding of a variety of engaging teaching methods.

I believe that students learn better when they enjoy what they are doing and therefore will make my lessons as interesting as possible. I am patient, encouraging and will take a supportive approach towards students, which is tailored to each individual to focus on their strengths and weaknesses. This means students can focus on topics they find challenging and develop their understanding using a method that best suits their learning style. The lessons will also explore additional syllabus content, developing exam techniques and how to produce the most effective revision resources.

My guidance will help students become more confident in their own abilities and therefore help them to achieve higher grades
