About Gina
I'm Gina, I have been tutoring for about 6 years in GCSE & A-Level Mathematics & Science, specialising in Physics. I am extremely patient and I find it easy to explain concepts in many different simple ways. I am a Physics graduate from the University of York and a Biomedical Engineering postgraduate from the University of Liverpool, which I completed with a Distinction. My master's degree allowed me to continue the Biology and Chemistry aspects of my study. During my undergraduate degree I learnt high level Maths, Physics and Chemistry giving me the confidence in my abilities to teach these subjects. I am currently working in the Medical Technology industry which allows me to keep my working knowledge up to date. I also have experience in 11+ style tutoring - entry exams for schools including verbal/non-verbal reasoning. Gina tutored my friend's daughter, Hollie through GCSE maths from October to June 2017. During that time she developed a good understanding that helped her complete mock exams with success. Gina helped her overcome her anxiety and progress onto the next level of her college course. Without her that would simply have not been possible.
