About Ishika
I'm Ishika, a Biology student studying at Cardiff University, going into my second year. I'm an enthusiastic tutor with plenty of experience and passion for teaching. I achieved straight A's and A*'s at GCSE level, an A in A-level Biology and a B in A-level Chemistry.
For two years, I worked as a tutor at Dolphin Dale Tuition, where I would deliver maths and science lessons. I tutored students of varied ability in preparation for KS3 and GCSE exams. This involved planning and delivering efficient and engaging lessons for one-to-one tuition and groups, by identifying individual student’s strengths and weaknesses to respond to their learning needs. I assigned homework on request, which I would mark and correct for the subsequent lesson. I was also responsible for communicating with students’ guardians to keep them up to date with their progress. Additionally, I was employed by the maths department at my high school to tutor students in preparation for their GCSE. Considering I sat my GCSE's not too long ago, I am aware of the appropriate exam technique and knowledge needed to be successful in exams.

I can also suggest revision techniques that I found helpful when undertaking my GCSE's and A-level's. I’m organised and determined to help students reach their potential and excel academically.
