About Tabitha
Hi! My name is Tabitha and I am a second year medical student. I wanted to be a tutor because I found the support outside of school in a warm and welcoming environment to be a place where I could thrive academically and that is exactly what I want for you. Learning content that is unfamiliar or difficult can be frustrating but I want to help you reframe this so that we can build your biology confidence together. As a medical student, I understand that professionalism, kindness and respect are key to the trust built between people. Therefore, I want to assure you that your educational needs are important and are absolutely achievable by working together towards your academic goals.

With tutoring, I like to create a warm and welcoming environment for all knowledge levels to give you a safe space to make mistakes and build your academic confidence. I like to use a mix of teaching, use of visual learning, and incorporating practice questions into my lesson, however I am always happy to adjust this to meet the needs of the student. My lessons typically last an hour however I am flexible for all preferences. I have been a tutor for several years, ranging from GCSE to A-level support, with a strong background with teaching in SEN support. Being a year 2 medical student, I know how challenging the steps to getting the grades you want can be so my main goal is to make sure you feel supported and confident in your academic progress.
