About Teagan
My fascination with life sciences started with a curiosity about the intricate processes that govern organisms and ecosystems. I pursued a B.Sc in Biology and an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, gaining expertise in cellular mechanisms, genetics, physiology, and ecology. Over the past 11 years, I have guided learners of various ages and backgrounds, helping them develop both conceptual understanding and practical skills in biology through structured lessons, interactive projects, and research-oriented exercises.
I believe in making biology approachable, engaging, and intellectually stimulating. Many students struggle with complex molecular or ecological concepts, so I break ideas into manageable steps, use relatable examples, and incorporate interactive exercises to foster understanding. This approach ensures learners gain confidence while developing critical thinking and analytical abilities.
Outside teaching, I remain actively involved in biological research, laboratory work, and environmental studies, which helps bring real-world relevance into lessons. Witnessing learners transform from confusion to clarity, curiosity, and confidence is profoundly rewarding. Supporting students in mastering biological principles and nurturing a lifelong appreciation for life sciences is the most fulfilling part of my work.

Biology lessons are designed to bring the living world alive, helping learners connect microscopic molecular processes to large-scale ecosystems. I guide students through cell biology, physiology, genetics, microbiology, evolutionary principles, and ecological dynamics, using interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts accessible. Lessons focus on fostering curiosity, observation, critical thinking, and practical understanding while building confidence in analytical reasoning.
For beginners, lessons focus on foundational topics such as cell structure, photosynthesis, respiration, Mendelian inheritance, and simple ecological relationships. Intermediate learners dive deeper into molecular genetics, physiological systems, microbiology techniques, population ecology, and experimental design. Advanced learners engage with genomics, advanced physiology, ecological modeling, and lab-oriented research projects. Each lesson combines guided exercises, case studies, and problem-solving challenges to reinforce understanding and develop mastery.
Biology learning also strengthens observation, data interpretation, and scientific reasoning. Students gain confidence in designing experiments, analyzing results, and linking biological principles to real-world situations.
