About Harrison
My passion for biology began with curiosity about how living organisms grow, adapt, and survive. This interest led me to complete an M.Sc in Biological Sciences, where I developed strong theoretical and research-based foundations. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students build clarity and confidence through supportive, structured instruction. I believe biology should be taught with imagination and care. My teaching style focuses on simplifying complex systems and encouraging curiosity through questions and discussion. I adapt explanations to suit each learner’s needs. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with biology through scientific reading and continuous learning. These experiences enrich my lessons. Teaching biology is fulfilling because I see students grow into confident learners who appreciate the logic and beauty of life sciences.

Biology lessons are designed to help learners understand life as an interconnected system rather than a collection of facts. I guide students through cell biology, human physiology, genetics, ecology, evolution, and biotechnology by highlighting relationships between structure and function. Lessons are paced carefully to ensure clarity and long-term retention, using diagrams, examples, and storytelling to simplify complex processes.
Instruction is tailored to each learner’s stage. Beginners focus on terminology, basic biological processes, and visual understanding. Intermediate learners strengthen reasoning in genetics, metabolism, and system interactions. Advanced learners work on experimental interpretation, data analysis, exam strategies, and scientific writing. Regular questioning and revision support deep understanding.
Biology lessons also develop observation, patience, and analytical thinking. Students learn to approach living systems thoughtfully and logically. Many gain confidence in handling scientific subjects overall. My goal is to help learners feel connected to biology and confident in their ability to understand life at every level.
