About Vina
Hi! I’m Vina, a licensed professional teacher, Cum Laude graduate, and Science educator with 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Science, and I have taught students with different learning levels, abilities, and backgrounds. My goal is to make Biology easier to understand by breaking complex topics into clear, manageable ideas.
In my lessons, you can expect a patient and supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome. I use clear explanations, visual examples, practice questions, and real-life applications to help students understand concepts—not simply memorize them.

I believe Biology becomes easier to understand when students can connect scientific concepts to real-life examples. As a licensed Science teacher and Cum Laude graduate with 3 years of classroom teaching experience, I use a clear, patient, and student-centered approach.
I adapt my lessons to each student's level, learning style, and goals. My techniques include:
• Simple explanations of complex Biology concepts
• Diagrams, visual aids, and examples
• Guided questions to develop critical thinking
• Practice questions and problem-solving activities

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
A typical lesson begins with a short review or warm-up to check what the student already knows. I then introduce the new topic using simple explanations and visual examples. We work through examples together, followed by practice questions or an interactive activity. At the end, we review the key concepts and identify areas that need more practice.
What Sets Me Apart
My background as a classroom Science teacher has taught me how to explain the same concept in different ways depending on the student's needs. I am patient and approachable, and I create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them.
