About Oscar
My fascination with biology began when I first learned how living organisms grow, adapt, and respond to their environments. I became particularly interested in understanding how cells function and how biological systems support life. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue advanced studies in biology and complete a Master’s Degree in Biology, where I studied genetics, physiology, and environmental science.
During my 6 years of teaching, I have guided many students as they explored different areas of biological science. My teaching approach focuses on patient explanations and encouraging curiosity so learners feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. I believe biology becomes more interesting when students understand how scientific concepts connect with real life.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about new discoveries in biological research and environmental studies. These interests help me bring engaging examples into my lessons. Teaching biology is rewarding because I see students become more curious about living systems and gain confidence in understanding scientific concepts.

My biology lessons are designed to help students understand how living organisms function and interact within the natural environment. Biology becomes easier when learners connect scientific ideas to real examples found in nature. In my lessons we begin with important topics such as cell structure, biological organization, and the characteristics that define living organisms. I explain how cells perform essential functions and how they form tissues and organs in more complex organisms.
As students build confidence with these foundations, lessons expand to include topics such as human body systems, genetics, and ecosystems. Learners study how different organs work together to maintain life and how genetic information is passed from one generation to another. We also explore how plants, animals, and microorganisms interact within ecosystems and contribute to environmental balance.
My goal is to help students develop curiosity about life science while building confidence in understanding biological concepts. Lessons focus on clear explanations and meaningful discussion rather than memorization alone. Over time students begin to see how biological systems connect and appreciate the complexity of living organisms.
