About Asja
I am a senior biology major at Union College that has taught biology to students in the past. I love sharing what I know about the various subtopics in biology with others. I believe that the best way to do well in biology courses is to understand all the moving pieces within each concept.

My teaching method depends on whether I am teaching one-on-one or in a group setting. As a group, I think interactive lectures are the best way to learn material. Individual sessions are more conversation based, however I do think it is important to make a plan with my student that works for the both of us. Everyone learns differently and finding the best approach to individuals learning will give the best results.

Details
My rates are constant
I charge $15 for traveling, however if my total car time will be more than 1 hour I will change $20
There will be a $10 fee for an individual session canceled, only if the cancellation is done so within 24 hours of the session. If the session is canceled prior to 24 hours of the lesson, there will be no additional cost however there will be no refund as I will already have prepared the lesson.
