About Karolina

I am a current PhD student in Developmental Cell Biology at Charles University in Prague working for Structural Neurobiology Laboratory. I hold a master's degree graduate in Chemistry by Research from the University of Warwick (Coventry, UK) as well as bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK). I am also a former laboratory technician at the Czech Centre for Phenogenomics at metabolomics unit for MALDI-Imaging focus. Now, to the point... I am Karolina. I am a Polish expat who lived for seven years in the United Kingdom (Cambridge, Norwich, Coventry, London) and for two following years in Prague, Czech Republic. I am assuming you have already realised that I love travelling and by most I am thriving in challenging and stimulating environments. Moving to different countries however has not only been personally benefiting experience for me, but it also presented me with the opportunities to grow in a professional way. Polish elementary and secondary schools, British sixth forms, bachelor and master studies as well as further PhD education in Czechia, they all taught me scientific approach from very different perspectives which benefited in broad understanding of natural science field. I would love to share this knowledge with you, so do not hesitate to contact me!
