About Shane
My academic journey began with a B.Sc in Life Sciences, deepened through an M.Sc in Biotechnology, which allowed me to explore genetics, cellular mechanisms, and ecological systems in depth. Over 8 years of teaching, I have guided students in developing both conceptual understanding and practical expertise, focusing on clarity, structured support, and active engagement. My teaching approach prioritizes accessibility, ensuring complex topics are understandable without sacrificing depth. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, integrating diagrams, discussions, simulations, and guided practice. Encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on exploration allows learners to internalize concepts while building confidence. I emphasize problem-solving, experimentation, and real-world applications to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
