About Logan
My interest in biology began with a curiosity about living systems and how organisms interact with their environment. I pursued a B.Sc in Biology followed by an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, which deepened my understanding of life sciences and laboratory research. Over the past 10 years, I have helped learners of various levels develop clarity, confidence, and interest in biology through structured, engaging lessons. I teach with patience, adaptability, and encouragement, ensuring that complex biological concepts are broken down into understandable components. I use diagrams, real-world examples, and interactive discussion to make learning engaging and meaningful. Many students who initially find biology challenging gradually develop both confidence and enthusiasm as they gain mastery of the subject. Outside teaching, I stay connected to the field of biology through research reading, lab work, and participation in science education initiatives. Teaching biology is deeply fulfilling because it allows me to nurture curiosity, analytical skills, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.

Biology becomes more fascinating when students understand how complex living systems function and interconnect. In my lessons, I guide learners through cellular biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, evolution, and human anatomy using structured explanations, visual models, and practical examples. I emphasise conceptual understanding alongside memorisation, helping learners make connections between scientific principles and real-world observations. Lesson plans are tailored to the learner’s knowledge level. Beginners focus on foundational concepts, cell structure, basic genetics, and ecological principles. Intermediate learners study complex processes such as biochemical pathways, physiology, and interactions within ecosystems. Advanced learners explore molecular biology, experimental design, research interpretation, and exam-oriented problem-solving. Hands-on activities, guided discussion, and reflective practice are integral to each session. Biology lessons also foster analytical thinking, curiosity, and observational skills. Students gain confidence as they learn to approach scientific problems methodically. My goal is to help learners appreciate the complexity of life while developing a systematic and inquisitive approach to understanding biological systems.
