About Wendy
My love for biology began with fascination for how living systems function, from the smallest cell to the complexity of human health and ecosystems. This passion led me to complete a B.Sc in Biological Sciences and later an M.Sc in Molecular Life Research, where I explored the deeper mechanisms that drive life processes. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students through biology with patience, warmth, and structured clarity.
I teach in a way that emphasizes understanding rather than memorization. I use diagrams, storytelling, and real-world examples to make complex processes feel approachable. I encourage learners to ask questions freely and to develop confidence in scientific reasoning.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with biology through research reading, health science exploration, and continual learning about modern discoveries. Teaching biology is deeply fulfilling because I see students grow into curious, confident learners who understand life with greater clarity.

Biology becomes truly engaging when students see it as the study of life’s patterns, systems, and incredible complexity. My lessons focus on helping learners understand cells, genetics, physiology, ecology, and evolution through clear explanation and supportive guidance. I aim to make biology feel less like memorization and more like a connected story of how living organisms function and adapt.
Lessons are carefully adjusted to student needs. Beginners build strong foundations in cell structure, basic inheritance, classification, and simple biological processes. Intermediate learners develop deeper understanding of body systems, enzymes, photosynthesis, and experimental reasoning. Advanced students explore molecular biology, advanced genetics, biotechnology, and exam-focused scientific writing. Each session includes active recall strategies, diagram practice, and structured feedback that strengthens confidence.
Biology lessons also encourage curiosity and appreciation for the natural world. Students often become more fascinated by how life operates at both microscopic and ecological scales. My goal is to help learners feel capable, motivated, and confident in their scientific understanding, while building skills that support long-term academic success.
