About Ariane
My passion for biology grew from a fascination with living organisms, their interactions, and the hidden processes that sustain life. I completed a B.Sc in Biology and an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory experience. Over 8 years, I have guided learners of all levels, simplifying complex concepts while fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a structured and approachable way.
I emphasise interactive and student-centred teaching. Using illustrations, experiments, real-life examples, and structured explanations, I help students connect theory with observation and practical understanding. I encourage questions, independent exploration, and critical thinking, ensuring students develop confidence alongside knowledge. Lessons are crafted to balance clarity, engagement, and intellectual growth.
Beyond teaching, I follow developments in molecular biology, ecology, and cellular research to bring current examples into the classroom. Watching students transform from hesitant learners into confident thinkers who understand and appreciate complex biological concepts is incredibly rewarding. My aim is to nurture curiosity, analytical ability, and a lifelong love for exploring life sciences in every student.

Biology becomes more approachable when students connect living systems, cellular functions, and ecological principles to their daily life and the natural world. My lessons cover cell biology, genetics, physiology, evolution, ecology, and microbiology. I use simple language, diagrams, and real-life examples to help students visualise and understand complex biological processes. Each session is structured to foster curiosity, observation, and analytical thinking, helping learners feel confident exploring both theory and practical applications.
Lessons are tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on fundamental structures, life cycles, and basic organismal processes. Intermediate students explore genetics, molecular biology, cellular function, and ecological interactions. Advanced learners engage in experimental design, applied biology, and analytical reasoning. Hands-on exercises, discussions, and reasoning practice help students strengthen comprehension, problem-solving skills, and confidence in biology, preparing them for exams, projects, or research work.
Studying biology develops analytical, observational, and reasoning skills. Students gain an appreciation for how organisms interact with each other and their environment, fostering critical thinking and curiosity.
