Biology education student tutoring AP biology for high school and college, 3 years of experience

Kyla is a student SI leader for biology at my college. She is very knowledgable, resourceful, and personable. I was very scared about taking my first ever science college class, but she really helped me through it. Kyla knows her stuff and makes sure that you know exactly what you need to study for the class. She has 6 semesters worth of experience in SI, and has gathered plenty of extra resources in that time that are great for studying on your own. Kyla wants to be able to formally teach this material someday, and it is clear that she truly is passionate about education and science.

I am one of Kyla’s professor’s that works with her on a daily basis. She is such an effective and thorough tutor that she is now the go-to tutor for SI for Biology I & Biology II at our college. She assists the students in a very immersive way, so much so that she now trains future SI tutors. I would highly recommend her as a tutor for any Biology major’s course.
