As a tutor, I am known amongst my students as someone who is friendly and approachable but also firm, and strict when needed be. Having been a tutor for over 7 years now, I have a variety of experience with different age groups as well different boards and a range of subjects. Since I am close in age to my tutees, It also helps me to relate to the difficulties they often experience with certain subjects.
I am medical student who has achieved 10 A* at GCSE, and 2A* and 2A at A level.
GCSE: 10A*: English lit, English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French( completed my GCSE in year 9), History, Citizenship, Religious Studies

I was born in France and lived there for over 13 years. I can therefore speak, read and write french fluently.I have been a tutor for french, science and mathematics since the age of 16 (now 22).
I have a large range of teaching experience from very young children to adults. I enjoy teaching and am considered to have a caring approach. I try to make sure that learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation. I always have the highest expectations of pupils and help them to achieve their personal best. While at school (in year 12 and 13) I ran a GCSE science club for 20 students by myself where I used to prepare resources in order to tackle challenging topics in their syllabus (GCSE specification) and help the students overcome their challenges. Impressed by my ability to teach students and relate to their challenges, the school then employed me as year 12/13 biology and chemistry tutor for the summer term. My goal was to make sure my students were able to achieve their target grades. In order to help them, I had to prepare resources targeting my student`s challenges, mark past papers (for the year group), prepare power points for lessons and present them to classes of around 25 students. Out of the 20 students I thaught, 13 achieved their target grade and the other 7 achieved beyond their target grade. I have also been a private tutor from home for the past 4 years for the following subjects: French, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology at GCSE and A- level standard. I was born in France and lived there for 13 years. I can fluently read, write and speak French. I understand how the prospect of learning a new language can be daunting to some students and I aim to try and make that learning transition seem easier and more fun! I am willing to help with coursework as well. I completed my French GCSE in year9 and achieved an A* ( 98%), an A at AS level (97%) and A at A level (90%).
