About Irsa
I have a background in Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) and experience providing home tuition to school students. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of Biology, human sciences, and related subjects, while my tutoring experience has helped me develop a practical and adaptable approach to teaching.
I have found that students do not always struggle because a subject is difficult; often, they simply need the concept explained in a way that makes sense to them. I enjoy breaking complicated topics into smaller, understandable parts and helping students become confident with concepts they previously found challenging.
I am patient, responsible, and attentive to each student's learning pace. I mainly teach Biology, General Science, Human Biology, and English to school students. I take my responsibilities seriously and aim to provide well-prepared, clear, and productive lessons in a comfortable and professional learning environment.

My teaching approach is based on understanding the student first and then adapting the lesson accordingly. I do not rely on memorization alone. I explain concepts step by step, using simple examples, diagrams, questions, and real-life connections so that students understand why something works rather than simply remembering the answer.
I work particularly well with students who find Biology and Human Science difficult or need concepts explained in a simpler way. My aim is to identify the reason behind a student's difficulty and adjust my teaching accordingly, rather than using the same method for everyone. I encourage students to ask questions freely and participate actively so that they gradually become more independent and confident learners.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the student's existing understanding, followed by explanation of the main concept. I then use questions and short exercises to check whether the student has understood it and address any areas of confusion. Depending on the student's needs, lessons can also include homework support, revision, assignment guidance, test preparation, and practice questions.
I also maintain regular communication about areas that need improvement and focus on making each lesson clear, organized, and useful for the student's academic goals.
