About Isabel
Hi! I'm a biochemistry student on the pre-med track with experience both in the classroom and in research. I've worked as a teaching assistant for a general biology lab, conducted research in computational chemistry and machine learning, and previously worked in a cancer research lab. Outside of academics, I've also been a summer camp counselor, where I learned how to connect with students of all ages and create a positive learning environment.
As an out-of-state student, tutoring has been a great way for me to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy—helping others learn. I know firsthand that biology can feel overwhelming at times, and I believe everyone deserves explanations that make concepts click. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and discovering that they really can succeed in science.
