About Andrei
I am a Biochemistry PhD student offering tutorials in Chemistry (A-level, GCSE, Undergrad), Biology (A-level, GCSE, Undergrad), Maths (A-level, GCSE), Physics (A-level, GCSE). I have over 6 years of experience of teaching at both an undergraduate level as well as undergraduate level (St. Hilda's College, Oxford), including tutoring for Oxbridge Admission for NatSci (Camb), Chemistry (Oxf) and Biochemistry (Oxf).
I come from a research background, having done both my undergraduate and masters at the University of Oxford, with a passion for teaching.

I like to sample the level of the student before tutoring begins in a series of problems created to sample the skills and abilities of a student. This information is then used to prepare an individual program of study based on the students strengths and weaknesses. I tend to give examples of exracurricular material to encourage the student to make connections in between the material covered and to expand their horizons, not just learning to ace the exam. I am often trying to make the student set their own goals and use a short slot at the end of every tutorial to scale themselves up to the goals they have themselves set.
