About Mica
First of all, thank you for taking the time to check my profile. Based in Montréal, I work as a full-time engineer and yoga teacher. It sometimes comes as a shocker that I am a woman in STEM and a yoga teacher, but both fields offer me an essential balance in life. My love story with yoga started in the summer months of 2014 when I attended a Lululemon community class in Shanghai. Since then, I kept the practice with me when I got back to Ottawa to finish my undergraduate studies. It was only 5 years later that I got certified as a yoga teacher with Modo Yoga, and since then it has been truly rewarding to give to others what makes me feel so complete.

During my class, I want people to reflect, and also be softer towards themselves. For this reason, I always add a Dharma talk where I can share some words of wisdom from teachers or previous readings. I want students to enjoy any space they are currently in. At the end of the class, there is usually a short meditation session where we go through a body scan or breathing exercises. The goal with this Superprof profile is to truly accompany you through your yoga practice and teach you how you can reconcile your relationship with your body, mind, and soul so that you can tap into your inner potential. Not only do I wish to help you move better and in a safer way, but I truly hope to open up your mind to a new perspective that will change your life for the better. We only have one life to live, so might as well live it with love and grace. To love is to be present, calm, and at peace, which I hope you will find in one of my classes one day! I am fully bilingual and can offer my services in French as well. Love, Mica

Perfect! I really enjoy and look forward to my weekly classes with Mika. She carefully listened to my goals and concerns going into this. Her sessions never fail to challenge physically (In a great way), mixed with a grounded/soothing personality that leaves a positive and noticeable trace in the days that follow. Highly recommended
