About Chelsea

I have an Associate's degree from a community college and am working towards my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am a stay-at-home mother of three children. I have worked in a nursery teaching preschoolers for over six years. And have 10 plus years of helping children with homework and teaching friends English. Spanish is spoken daily in our home.

About the lesson

Through the art of conversation, you will learn the basics of English vocabulary. Including letters' names and their sounds, numbers, animals, colors, shapes, body parts, and simple phrases. Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to reach out. Being bilingual we will have a better ability to reach your specific needs.

I've been a close friend of Chelsea for over fifteen years, in that time she's devoted herself to learning Spanish. She studied Spanish formally and immersed herself into the Spanish speaking community. She has used this experience to help children and adults in her community learn English as a second language for everyday use. Her husband is a native Spanish speaker and they have created a bilingual home for their three children where she keeps current on conversational Spanish. She will be an excellent teacher able to help students build a practical vocabulary for all situations and understand the English language.
