About Alexandra
I have completed my undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science with majors in Physics and Chemistry. I have also completed BSc Hons in Chemistry and will be registered for BSc Masters in 2021. As part of the Honours postgraduate course, I was involved in the tutoring programme. This included supervising laboratory work, marking laboratory exercises and exams as well as tutoring the first year chemistry students for 1hr every week. I will continue to be involved in this programme in 2021. I have also tutored multiple matric students and have been a sustitute tutor for an occupational therapist, this involved tutoring students with learning disabilities such as autism and ADHD.

My teaching method is tailored to individual problem areas. I like to begin the lesson by outlining the major points for the topic and completing some exercises. From the exercises I am able to identify problem areas and provide clarification where necessary. Approaching Exam times, I work through past papers with my students.
