About Shailja

My yoga journey began in 2019 after an ankle surgery that required six months of bed rest and rehabilitation. During recovery, I was introduced to movement and breathwork through guided sessions, which gradually became an essential part of my healing process.

What started as short daily practices soon turned into a deeper commitment, exploring different styles and building consistency over time. In 2025, I took a career break to pursue yoga more seriously and completed my 200-hour teacher training from The Yoga Institute. I am also certified as a Yoga Protocol Instructor by the Ministry of AYUSH.

Since then, I have been working with clients across online and offline formats, including both 1–1 and group sessions, with a focus on personalized, need-based teaching.

Alongside teaching, I follow a satvik lifestyle and share my journey through travel and wellness content. My approach to yoga is simple—making it accessible, consistent, and supportive for everyday life

I combine Hatha and Vinyasa-based yoga flow with breathwork (pranayama) and guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra). My style is:

Beginner-friendly and adaptable to all body types
Focused on alignment, breath awareness, and slow progression
Rooted in creating body awareness and mental clarity, not just postures

I observe each student’s needs and guide them with simple, clear cues so they feel comfortable and confident in their practice.
Usual Structure of a Class

Each session is designed to feel complete and balanced:

Centering & breath awareness (5 mins)
Gentle warm-up / joint movements (5–10 mins)
Yoga flow (Hatha/Vinyasa-based) (15–25 mins)
Pranayama (breathing techniques) (5–10 mins)
Yoga Nidra / relaxation (5–10 mins)

I also share small lifestyle suggestions like satvik diet guidance when relevant, to support overall well-being.
