About Jiayi
I am a student who has written since they were very young, and I have participated in multiple writing contests, winning a few of them. I am most versed in creative writing and research/professional writing, though I can also help with the fundamentals. I earned a Gold Medal and Gold and Silver Keys in this year's Scholastic competition and placed 2nd in Spelling for UIL. I earned a perfect score on the SAT and PSAT/NMSQT for Reading, and earned a 35 and 36 for English and Reading respectively on the ACT.

My lessons will focus on feedback. My main role as a tutor is to point out flaws in your writing, explain the reasoning behind unspoken customs, and overall evaluating the quality of your English. As needed, I can also assist with spelling, vocabulary, or even more complex things in writing such as pacing, organization, and character. I am a very versatile tutor with regards to English, and I have extensive knowledge on the Reading SAT and how to best maximize your score.
