About Monse
I am a patient, supportive, and dedicated tutor who wants every student to feel confident in their ability to succeed. I understand that school can sometimes feel overwhelming, and asking for help can be difficult, so I strive to create a welcoming and judgment-free environment.
As a tutor, I am committed to being prepared, professional, and respectful of every student's individual learning style. I will take the time to listen, explain concepts clearly, and make sure students understand the material rather than simply giving them the answers.
My goal is to help students become more confident, independent learners while developing study habits and skills they can use throughout high school, college, and beyond.

My approach as a tutor is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style based on their individual needs and learning preferences.
Teaching Methods and Techniques
I break difficult concepts into smaller, easier-to-understand steps and use examples to connect lessons to real-life situations. I encourage students to explain their thinking, ask questions, and practice problems on their own so they can develop confidence and independence. Rather than simply giving students the answers, I guide them through the process so they understand how to find the answer themselves.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins by identifying what the student is struggling with and reviewing any important concepts they may need to know. We then work through examples together, followed by guided practice. As the student becomes more comfortable, I allow them to work independently while providing support when needed. I end the lesson by reviewing what we learned and making sure the student feels confident about the material.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, encouragement, and willingness to adapt. I understand that asking for help can sometimes feel intimidating, so I make an effort to create a judgment-free environment. I want students to leave each session feeling not only more knowledgeable, but also more confident in their ability to succeed.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are primarily for high school and elementary students who need additional support with their coursework, study skills, organization, time management, and preparing for assignments or exams. I am especially interested in helping students who may feel overwhelmed by their classes and need someone to break the material down into manageable steps.
