About Sienna

I love teaching because I’ve experienced firsthand how much more enjoyable school becomes once you truly understand the content and grasp the ideas being taught. For me, this shift took away a lot of the stress around studying and allowed me to appreciate the other joys that school has to offer beyond academics. My goal as a tutor is to help you build that same confidence in your knowledge and understanding, so that studying feels less overwhelming and you can make the most of your school years—not just in the classroom, but in every experience that comes with it.

About the lesson

Hi, my name is Sienna, and I’m a third-year Medicine student at Bond University. I graduated from Meriden Anglican Girls’ School in 2023 with an ATAR of 99.70, as well as being recognised as an All-Rounder Achiever.

Here are my HSC results:
Biology – 96 (Band 6)
Chemistry – 91 (Band 6)
English Advanced – 93 (Band 6)
Maths Extension 1 – 47 (E4)
Maths Advanced (Maths Methods in QLD) – 98 (Band 6)
Music 2 – 98 (Band 6)
Music Extension – 49 (E4)

As a tutor, I take a supportive and step-by-step approach. I know that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations to suit their needs. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable parts and encourage students to ask as many questions as they need.

Beyond just covering content, I also help students build confidence in applying exam techniques, learning how to tackle different question types, and developing strategies for working under time pressure. I often use past papers and practice questions so students can not only understand the material but also learn how to perform well under exam conditions.

Most importantly, I aim to create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential.

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you.
Looking forward to working with you soon!

Disclaimer: I am from NSW! Maths Extension 1 is the equivalent to higher level Maths Methods, and some topics from Specialist Maths in QLD. I am not a Specialist Maths tutor!

Thanks,
Sienna :)

Sienna helped me a lot to understand my class work and prepare me for my exams. She is able to explain everything very clearly and in a way I understand and always answers my questions no matter how many I have. Would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a maths tutor!

I have Sienna as my math and biology tutor, and she has helped me build confidence in these subjects and grow my skills. She is so lovely and kind and definitely helped me out a lot through year 12. She is definitely someone I can lean on for support in challenging modules and exams. I could not recommend her highly enough for tutoring.
