About Jana
This would be my first time making teaching a profession, but I have lots of experience with people. I have been doing customer service for a total of 8 years and have been in the service industry for 7 years.
I have been a nanny for several families, so patience is a virtue I am well versed in. I have great communication skills with both children and adults as I have worked with both extensively. I am a huge people person and love to meet new people.

Teaching and Method:
-Always start with a greeting
-Topic- Ex. Get to Know Me- nationality, birthday, age, full name etc.
-I'll have a list of questions to conquer by the end of the lesson
-Let you listen to me first
-Let you try next with my step by step walk through
-I will use pictures and visual aids depending o context
-I'll choose a section of a children's book to read and show pictures to help with listening comprehension and ask questions related to the book
-hold up a handwritten notecard of questions for them to copy on their own, so they can practice throughout the week
Me as a Tutor:
-I am very enthusiastic and passionate about everything I do
-being personable to each person I meet is very important, so that they will feel comfortable with me
-no question is a stupid question
-I will always speak slowly and clearly
-I will take topic suggestions from my students if there is a particular topic they would like to learn about in English
-I will do my best to make the lessons fun and enjoyable!
