Classical texts such as Shakespeare can often feel dense or inaccessible, and I have ample experience teaching students to decode, understand, and develop an appreciation for them. I'm a big lover of words and believe that sometimes in studying, we forget to enjoy them, and so my tutoring is based around forming a positive relationship with study. It's also important to me that lessons are catered specifically to you. Together we will work through course work and discuss its relevance to you, here and now in the year 2021, and how the ideas and values apply to your life. I'm an actor as well as a writer, and so for texts such as Shakespeare one of my methods is understanding through reading out loud. It's not just about cramming to get that essay completed or smashing out that exam - I want you to walk away with the knowledge and ability to analyse, write, and present with confidence.

I understand life gets in the way sometimes, and we're living in a pandemic right now, so if you need to cancel or move your lesson, let me know as soon as you can and we'll work something out. Unfortunately, lessons cancelled with under 12 hours' notice are non-refundable, but I'm happy to reschedule if you're sick or there's an emergency!
