About Gitanjali

I am artist by childhood, I am an expert in watercolor painting, drawing and pen art. I want to reflect my art journey with my students. I want to guide my fellow students to think as an artist and show them the beauty of art in everything. “Observe and Learn” approach which I want to bring in with students, which will help them to articulate the nature of life into art form. Teaching students will help me identify areas that needed explanation, leading me to develop better teaching strategies in order to share my knowledge effectively. Interestingly, I stumbled upon watercolor by chance, and it changed me, molding me into the artist I am today.

About the lesson

Along with watercolor painting I teach - pen art, drawing, life art, nature art, landscape, floral art, sketching, object and perspective drawing. Techniques of watercolor painting and understanding the color theory, shading, objects and real life art. It is important to understand the object color, shadows and angle and apply what we see. Changing the mind to art will make you an artist.
