About Hannah Hurricane
Hannah Hurricane is an artist and educator who was raised as a true Florida girl with Central Texas roots. She has lived in the Northeast for many years and recently returned to Texas. Hannah is passionate about teaching studio courses that focus on non-toxic printmaking, contemporary art, ceramics, and drawing. Her artwork has gained national recognition, and she has been honored with multiple grants and residencies as an artist. Hannah's favorite things to draw are angels, her two daughters (ages ten and eight), and many nonsensical things. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Hannah finds joy in playing soccer and being active outdoors. She has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida (2010) and a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Art from Western Connecticut State University (2020).
