About Saoirse
I am currently studying Communication Design at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), specializing in moving image design. I achieved a H1 in my Leaving Certificate Art exam and received 100% in six out of seven college portfolios I applied for. With this experience, I understand what examiners and professors look for and how to present work to a high standard. I now offer art tutoring for Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate, and portfolio preparation, combining technical skills, creative exploration, and exam-focused guidance to help students reach their full potential. I aim to create a positive, engaging learning space where students can strengthen technique, develop ideas, and achieve their goals.

I offer tailored art tutoring sessions designed to build confidence, technical skill, and creative thinking. Lessons typically run one to two hours depending on the focus, whether that’s refining drawing techniques, developing a strong portfolio, or preparing for specific exams.
My teaching approach combines structured skill-building with encouragement for personal style, ensuring students learn to observe, experiment, and present their best work. With proven success supporting students in both Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations, as well as guiding portfolio preparation for college entry, I understand what examiners and professors look for.
Sessions are suitable for secondary school students and college applicants, and can be booked as one-off consultations with practical feedback or as ongoing support to steadily build progress.
