About Samantha

My name is Samantha . I have been a high school art teacher , worked in the graphic industry as a designer, facilitated private art classes and created art therapy groups
I have also been an exhibiting artist in solo and group exhibitions .

Art and creativity is essential for humanity as far as I’m concerned , it has been a passion of mine for most of my life. It connects on a very deep level and brings joy and sometimes an avenue for deep processing of life .

About the lesson

All classes are client centred and based around students strengths but also focusing on where improvements can be made .
You are encouraged to develop your own unique style with mixed media and explore different mediums . You will also be introduced to techniques and styles of well known artist you can manipulate combine and apply in your own artwork .
Classes will start with the basics in colour mixing , structure balance and composition.and develop an understanding the components of what makes a successful piece of art .
