About Chand
Hi, my name is Chand and I’m a London based artist and recent graduate from UAL. I’ve been practising with a range of different mediums and styles for as far back as I can remember. I specialise in traditional oil paintings with subject matters such as portraiture, still life and landscapes.
I’d love to share my tips and tricks, and inspire everyone to be more confident in their creativity :)

Every student is unique so I will begin by getting to know the student and their work. This will allow me to tailor my lessons in accordance with their interests and requirements.
I specialise in traditional oil painting techniques; however, I am flexible in the content that I can teach. I can also provide support and advice in artistic research and analysis through constructive criticism and regular feedback. I have key knowledge in contemporary and period artists to help guide students to develop on interesting research topics and theories.
My method of working and teaching is hands-on as I believe that the best discoveries are made through experimentation and practice, the process and journey to the final piece. Topics I cover can range from the fundamental principles of painting, line, colour theory, composition, shape, form, value scale, tone and much more.
