About Alora
Hi everyone, I’m passionate about all things art and creativity. I am a practicing artist and lifelong art lover who enjoys exploring different styles, techniques, and ideas. I love helping students grow their confidence, develop their skills, and discover their own creative voice. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging space where you feel comfortable experimenting, learning, and enjoying the process of making art.

With my expertise in visual arts, I offer personalised tutoring in:
- Drawing & painting techniques
- Colour theory & composition
- Portfolio Development
- Creative thinking & idea development
- Beginner art history knowledge
- Advanced technical skill building
With experience across all media types (photography, sculpture, mixed media etc.) I can tailor my lessons to fit individual needs whether there is a specific project in mind or general skill building.
As a recently graduated secondary teacher I am qualified to teach ages 10-18 NCEA included, and with experience teaching primary students I am able to tailor class content to apply to all ages and abilities.
The typical length of a lesson is 1 hour however, I am passionate about bringing students ideas and projects to life no matter the timeframe.
