About Sophie
Hi! My name is Sophie. I'm 26 years old and just finished up my 6 years at Dublin City University last year. I've loved Chemistry since my Junior Cert, and although its been 7 years since I sat my Leaving, I remember exactly how stressful and daunting it was.
I spent 2 years tutoring chemistry to university students during my postgrad, and also ran leaving cert lab experiment crash courses on the DCU campus. I understand first hand how difficult chemistry can seem, and have had to explain some complex concepts to not only my university students but also to myself!
I would love to help you feel confident about sitting your exam, and not only help you with the course material but also give you the best tools for self-learning and pre-exam prep.

Tutoring Leaving Cert students of all capabilities and levels, and can adapt lesson plans to any specific areas the student would most like covered.
Typical lesson length is 1 hour, but can adapt where required/necessary.
2 years tutoring experience through my postgraduate degree, tutoring 1st and 2nd year university students in DCU as well as running Leaving Cert laboratory experiment crash courses through DCU.
