About Hareesh

I am an accomplished scientist, engineer, and dedicated educator with a deep commitment to mentoring students in the core STEM disciplines. My extensive academic journey began in India, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Kakatiya University, followed by a Master’s degree in Physics from Osmania University. To further my specialized research, I moved to the United States and graduated from Norfolk State University with both a Master’s degree in Optical Engineering and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, specializing in nanotechnology and semiconductor device fabrication. This comprehensive, multi-disciplinary foundation allows me to bring an elite level of academic authority and insight to every tutoring session.
Beyond my academic credentials, I bring over ten years of active, real-world experience working in the high-tech semiconductor industry. Having spent a decade solving complex engineering problems and developing cutting-edge technologies, I am uniquely capable of translating dry textbook formulas into fascinating, practical applications. My professional legitimacy is backed by a proven track record in the scientific community; I have published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, presented my research at national and international conferences, and spent years actively lecturing as an Applied Physics faculty member and university mentor for undergraduate and graduate students alike.
When you work with me, you are partnering with a seasoned professional who understands what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of academia and industry. I maintain a patient, structured, and encouraging learning environment designed to remove the anxiety often associated with advanced science and math. I approach every student with the utmost professionalism, reliability, and respect for their unique educational goals. Whether you are a high school student aiming for an A in AP Physics, an undergraduate mastering calculus, or a graduate student navigating a complex thermodynamics thesis, you can move forward confidently knowing you are receiving elite, world-class guidance.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is rooted in building conceptual intuition rather than forcing rote memorization. Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Kakatiya University, a Master’s in Physics from Osmania University, and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Norfolk State University, I understand firsthand how overwhelming advanced STEM subjects can be. Over my academic career, I have lectured as a faculty member in engineering colleges and successfully mentored undergraduate and graduate students through complex, math-heavy coursework. I specialize in breaking down highly abstract, intimidating formulas into clear, logical, step-by-step principles that anyone can follow.
A typical lesson with me is highly structured, collaborative, and tailored to your specific goals. We begin the first 5 to 10 minutes targeting your immediate pain points, reviewing a difficult homework problem, or identifying gaps in your foundational knowledge. Next, I guide you through the core underlying mechanics of the topic, often using real-world analogies from my 10+ years of high-tech semiconductor industry experience to show you exactly why these theories matter in cutting-edge modern engineering. We spend the remainder of the session working through problems interactively, shifting the pen to you so you build the independent problem-solving confidence needed to stress less and ace your upcoming exams.
What sets me apart as an educator is my unique ability to bridge the gap between elite academic research and practical industry application. Because I have actively published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at international conferences, I don't just teach from a textbook—I teach from a place of active, high-level mastery. These lessons are designed for ambitious individuals looking for elite academic support. I primarily work with high school students tackling rigorous AP Physics and Chemistry courses, undergraduate engineering majors navigating Applied Physics and Calculus, and Master’s or doctoral students who need expert guidance through advanced Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, scientific research design, or thesis writing. Whether you are aiming to strengthen your core fundamentals or master advanced graduate concepts, I am completely committed to your academic and professional success.
