About Elias
I’ve been working, tutoring, and volunteering with young students for eight years. I started as a one-to-one helper in a special needs environment. My next career, as a classroom interventionist and instructor, brought opportunities to connect with both SpEd and GenEd students. Direct experience in the field had me crafting lessons, implementing accommodations, and becoming the ultimate mentor. I’m funny annd empathetic, so I naturally formed trusting connections that helped my students want to open their minds.

I’m a passionate learner and a precise teacher. I love discovering new things; I have a natural curiosity for the world around me and I love to share its histories and treasures with new students! I value enthusiasm and enjoyment as vital parts of the learning process, and my approach is to encourage the most comfortable learning experience possible. I stay away from unaccommodating strategies such as memorization and recitation, instead observing my students’ strengths and working with them to conquer their obstacles.With my individualized approach, no student feels left behind.
