About Gracie
Hi, my name is Gracie! I am a college student at Johnson and Wales. All my life music has been such an inspiration and hobby of mine. I have played music all my life, but specifically, drums since 4th grade. I was in the Allstate band (second in the state) for all the years from 7th grade to Junior year of high school. I took lessons myself since 6th grade, and absolutely have loved all music classes all throughout my younger years. I joined jazz band as a set player since 7th grade, and played throughout high school. Within my high school years, I played in the marching band, helped with percussion in the orchestral and choir performances, and younger performances as well.

I would love to work with students and children wanting to learn snare drum or other percussion instruments up until 9th grade, junior Allstate level! I can help from the base and introduce the instrument, to helping with perfecting pieces used in classes, or All-State performances. Depending on the knowledge of the student, I will start from the base of rhythm and knowledge of the instrument. Then to learning an actual piece of music or answering any questions the music might have sparked.
