About Maria
Maria has been extensively developing her Yoga Practice since 2010, her first Yoga home was at the Integral Yoga Club at the Central University of Venezuela where she vehemently and keenly attended classes with the senior teachers at this school for over a period of 6 years. In 2012 she became deeply interested in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and has a 50hr content course. This sequencing technique laid the basis for a deep understanding of daily self-practice. In 2013 she moved to Margarita Island where she started her first yoga classroom project ‘Yoga Paraguachi’, holding community-oriented classes, private and group sessions for sportspeople. Her latest yoga immersion was a 2-year course at Triyoga Education, where she did over 350 hours of Teaching Techniques with Mimi Kuo Deemer and Jean Hall; Yoga Philosophy with Carlos Pomeda and, Anatomy with Chris Swain and Andrew MacGonegli. During this 2 year period, she underwent over 500 uncertified hours of studio practice with London’s most renowned teachers
