About Adam
I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and hold a Grade 8 Distinction in Electric Guitar. While I teach a wide range of styles and techniques, my particular specialism is acoustic fingerstyle guitar. Alongside guitar, I have five years of professional experience as a bass player, recording and performing under One Little Indian Records, and I also have experience in singing and songwriting.

I teach students of all ages and ability levels, from complete beginners to more advanced players looking to refine their technique, develop their musicality, or explore new styles. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals and interests, whether that's learning favourite songs, building strong technical foundations, writing original music, or preparing for exams.
My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and encouraging. I believe learning an instrument should be enjoyable and rewarding, and I aim to create lessons that leave students feeling motivated, confident, and excited to practise and progress before the next session.
I can have pupils visit me or I can travel direct to pupils. I have transport to get in and around the Exeter / Devon region (within 10 miles).
Lessons are priced at 30 mins at £20 or 45 mins at £30 plus transportation costs.
