About Alex

I am Alex. I am a matric learner that has achieved great accolades throughout my high school career, such as subject awards in Afrikaans and Physical Sciences. In 2022 I was awarded as Junior Dux of Protea Heights Academy which is a prestigious award and I am working towards being the Senior Dux in 2025. I have the interest of becoming a doctor one day. Values that I hold dear is discipline as well as respect for others AND yourself. To me nothing is more important than reaching your full potential. Whether there are obstacles and things bringing you down, discipline keeps you planted and believing in yourself can only draw you further towards everlasting success!

About the lesson

My lessons are focused on solidifying the foundation of all topics in math and physics. Without a solid foundation you cannot continue with advanced concepts within a topic. I teach in English only and I only possess availability on weekends as I myself am a current matric learner. I am very patient and will always work towards full understanding of a concept BEFORE we apply that knowledge into practice. It brings me joy seeing other people my age and younger succeed as we all have massive amounts of potential and sometimes all we need is someone to give us that final nudge.

I am writing to enthusiastically recommend Alex Basson, my classmate, for a tutoring position. Alex is a bright and capable Grade 12 student with a strong academic record. He consistently achieves high marks in his courses and demonstrates a deep understanding of the subject matter. His passion for learning is evident in his willingness to go the extra mile to understand challenging concepts.
Alex has a natural ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. He is patient and supportive, and he genuinely enjoys helping others learn. I have witnessed firsthand his ability to connect with students and adjust his teaching style to their individual needs. He is also highly organized and reliable.
I believe that Alex would be an excellent tutor, and I highly recommend him for this position.
