About William
I trained and qualified as UK barrister and took my BA degree at Oxford. I am currently a postgraduate student at Yale in the United States. I am back in the UK for the summer and thus am able to take a limited number of students over the coming months.
I also hold the Cambridge qualification to teach English as foreign language (CELTA), which allows me to adapt my teaching for students for whom English is not their first language.

We will work together on improving your reading comprehension of difficult literary texts, and on developing your speaking and writing skills, so that you can better present and organise your arguments about what you have read.
These sessions would be suitable for advanced international students hoping to study at UK universities, particularly in the humanities. I also frequently work with students seeking admission to prestigious UK independent secondary schools like Eton.
