About Juan
I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree in Astronomy. I have given private lessons in physics and mathematics for more than two years to secondary school/college students, and to university students in science, engineering and finances. I have also taught remotely, and I have the digital tools for good service (digital board, good camera, good microphone, good connection). I take the time to prepare the classes according to the level and needs of the student. I commonly receive students who seek emergency preparation for an exam, and on occasions I have given reinforcement and accompaniment to students who have difficulties with a subject, helping them meet their academic goals.

My methodology depends on the needs of the student. In the most common case that the student only wants to pass a subject, or has little time (due to his work, for example), the method that I find most effective is: Initially recognize the level and knowledge of the student by asking simple conceptual questions. This is followed by a section dedicated to solving simple problems that allow us clear misconceptions and learn lacking concepts. Subsequently, a summary of the concepts is reviewed, to finally give problems and questions to the student, that he can solve in class with supervision.
I consider essential that the student gains confidence by solving problems in the class, where is harder to get frustrated, as I will be guiding you to your success. Additionally, if the student wishes, I would give him a set of recommended problems to review at the next meeting, in case of agreeing on multiple sessions.
