About Katie

I am a young mom-to-be and full-time school speech-language pathologist. My younger brother has Down syndrome which has truly shaped the way I conduct lessons, as I cater each session to the individual knowing that one methodology for one student may not work for another. I have a master's in communication sciences and disorders along with my teaching license and SLP license in the state of Ohio.

About the lesson

English lessons designed for K-12 students using speech therapy approaches to language based tutoring for reading, spelling, and literacy. I combine games and visual learning to aid students in understanding material rather than rote memorization. I will use your student's interests to enhance motivation.
