About Thuveshani

Hello and welcome!

I’m excited to work with you and help you achieve your academic goals. As a dedicated and passionate tutor, I bring both a strong academic foundation and a genuine love for teaching. I am currently pursuing a BSc Honors in Molecular and Diagnostic Medicine, and throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a deep understanding of Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy, which I am eager to share with you.

I pride myself on professionalism and creating a learning environment that is both supportive and engaging. My goal is to help you not only improve your grades but also build your confidence in mathematics. I take the time to understand your individual needs, ensuring that lessons are tailored to suit your pace and the topics you're currently covering in school. I make sure to follow the curriculum closely, allowing us to stay aligned with your schoolwork while deepening your understanding of the subject.

In addition to helping you grasp key concepts, I use a past paper approach and test practice, ensuring you are well-prepared for exams and mock tests. By simulating exam scenarios, we’ll work on boosting your confidence and improving your test-taking skills under pressure.

Whether you're struggling with certain topics or looking to master your exam technique, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s work together to make math easier, more enjoyable, and ultimately, a subject you can excel in!

Looking forward to working with you!

About the lesson

As a dedicated and passionate tutor, my approach is centered on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters understanding and confidence. I believe in tailoring each lesson to meet the individual needs of my students, ensuring they grasp fundamental concepts while building critical thinking skills. My teaching style combines clear explanations with interactive problem-solving, making complex mathematical concepts accessible and enjoyable.

I am proficient in English, and all lessons are delivered in this language to ensure clarity and effective communication.

In each lesson, students can expect a structured yet flexible approach. I follow the curriculum and progress at a pace that is comfortable for each student, ensuring that they fully understand each topic as it is covered in school. We begin with a brief recap of previous material, followed by tackling new concepts through step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and plenty of practice problems. To help students excel under exam conditions, I incorporate a past paper approach and test practice, simulating real exam scenarios to boost both their confidence and test technique. This method helps prepare students for mock exams and alleviates exam pressure by familiarizing them with the types of questions they might face.

My lessons cater to high school and university students looking to improve their skills in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy. Whether you're aiming to boost your grades, prepare for exams, or gain more confidence in math, I am here to guide you through the process with targeted strategies and personalized support.
