About Morgan

Hello!
My name is Morgan Windle, and I have a MSc in Environmental Archaeology & Paleoeoconomy, and a BA in Archaeology, minoring in Philosopy & History. I'm an accomplished student, having graduated from both of my degrees with distinction (a UK 1st). I am hoping to teach in a range of topics pertaining my degrees!

I am from Canada, but currently live in the United Kingdom in the city of Sheffield, England. I have gained extensive teaching experience over the past year. I have spent two semesters in the University of Sheffield’s Department of Archaeology as a teaching assistant to lecturers in a very particular specialization; zooarchaeology. Delivering lessons and guidance during practical study periods, I have had to communicate with and teach Masters students complex ideas pertaining to science and culture, all of which in English. In addition to my time as a teaching assistant this past year, I have also been involved in independent and collaborative community engagement efforts at the University and my place of work, Wessex Archaeology. In these contexts, I have had to deliver presentations and practical lessons with children from 5-13, as well as adults. This has allowed me to develop skills in adaptive teaching methods; to tailor the delivery of ideas and material to different age groups, learning styles, and cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

I'm incredibly passionate about anything involving social sciences and humanities, and would love to help you develop and learn. I am happy to help you in your writing, studying, and preparation for exams.

I am very approachable, funny, friendly, and most importantly patient and compassionate!
