About Albert

I hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Violin Performance, Western Musical Practices and a Masters of Arts in Teaching in music pedagogy with an emphasis on teaching K-12 grade. I have taught all ages and have over a decade of teaching experience. I have worked with many local Los Angeles ensembles and played in many stages around LA, worked as a freelance violinist, playing weddings, in churches, and recorded in motion picture studios.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored for every student, based on their interests and goals. I make learning the violin fun and interactive! Not only do we learn violin technique, but we also dive into other areas of interest that can be tied to learning the violin. For instance, did you know Albert Einstein played the violin and the violin has a lot to do with physics? Or how swimming and tennis relate to the violin? Come join me on a violin adventure! Sign up for lessons today!:)

Albert is an exceptionally talented violinist and charismatic teacher. He allows his students to express themselves and explore musical themes and techniques. He is devoted to the artistic growth of his students and imparts a genuine love of music. We are very lucky to have studied with Albert over the past five years during which we have grown tremendously under his guidance!

Albert is an amazing teacher. He really dedicates himself to helping his students learn the violin or viola. He has helped me so much with my sound production, my intonation, and works with me through all the music theory and music in my repertoire. He has helped me visualize my future in viola performance and studies, and overall has given me a love for music that I’ve never had until now. Thank you!

Albert is the most enthusiastic and inspiring teacher I have ever had. After years of classical violin training, I had a lot of anxiety around being "perfect". Albert is extremely gifted at relieving all tension and bringing out the sheer joy of playing music. I hope to be a lifetime student as I always leave the session not only a better musician, but a happier person. He's pure magic.
