About Evan
I’m a first-year Medicine student at UCD, having achieved 625 points in my Leaving Certificate, including a H1 in Math. I’ve always enjoyed Math and I like the problem-solving side of it, but I also know that it can be frustrating when a topic just doesn’t click.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping people understand things that they initially find difficult. I remember being a student myself and finding that having someone explain a topic in a different way to my teacher could make a huge difference. I’d like to give students that same support while helping them become more confident in Math, and hopefully come to enjoy it!

My lessons are relaxed and tailored to each student’s needs. I’ll go through topics they find difficult, explain concepts clearly, and work through questions together so they understand how to approach them themselves. I can also help with homework, upcoming tests and exam preparation.
Having recently completed the Leaving Certificate myself, I understand the areas students can find difficult and the importance of building confidence as well as improving grades. I’m happy to work with both Higher and Ordinary Level students and adapt each lesson to their individual pace.
